From the Directors Chair

August 08.

There are many needs in our Community that we can assist with by providing resources. Some of those resources are as basic as volunteering some time each week to talk with people in need, through to giving financially so that services can be provided.

Our latest ongoing community project INTERFACE.  Provides a simple connection point for basic needs to be met by willing volunteers who assist in practical ways. If you are willing to cook a meal, clean a bathroom, change a light bulb, mow a lawn, donate some furniture, give someone a lift or assist in some other way, either regularly or as a one off, then check out our Interface notice board by clicking on the Special Project links on our home page.

Meeting as many needs as possible requires a tremendous amount of support, both practical and financial. If you are able to assist, either financially or by volunteering in any of our programs, please contact us. One of our staff will happily chat with you about how you can be involved. A current Police Clearance is required for all volunteers, which we will assist you with.
