Riverview's Community Visitors Scheme is an Australian Government Initiative to provide visitors for residents residing within Aged Care Facilities throughout the South East Metropolitan region of Perth WA. Volunteer visitors are suitably matched with a resident who may have little contact with family or friends and are at risk of becoming socially isolated. The volunteer visitor is asked to visit this person at least once a fortnight to develop friendship and companionship.
You really can make a difference in someone else's life simply by spending time with them. The Scheme is looking for people who would enjoy building a one-on-one relationship with a resident.

Resident referral
