Riverview CAP Debt Centre
In partnership with Christians Against Poverty (CAP), the Riverview CAP Debt Centre provides a free debt management service for anyone in the community. We need a team of dedicated, skilled and compassionate volunteers willing to support clients struggling with debt.
Community Visitors Scheme
The purpose of the Community Visitors Scheme is to provide visitors to residents of aged care facilities who are socially isolated and whose quality of life would be improved by friendship and companionship. We are looking for volunteers who would enjoy building a one-to-one relationship with a resident making a commitment to visit the person once per fortnight.
Gift Giving Projects
Through our annual gift giving projects including Mother’s Day, Share the Warmth and Tree of Hope, we aim to bless those in our community that are doing it tough. We need a team of practical people who love lending a hand for a specific project.
Through our Emergency Relief program we offer food parcels, some bill payment and referrals to people in crisis. We need practical and compassionate people to help with a variety of tasks that make this program possible.
The aim of Riverview Street Teams is to see transformation in our local communities, one house at a time. We need teams of volunteers who will commit to regular fortnightly roster, assisting families in their homes and backyards.
