Riverview Community Services is the community care arm of Riverview Church. We exist to provide practical assistance and personal support to those in the local community who are experiencing challenging life circumstances and financial need.

To provide help in the midst of crisis and resources to experience a better future.
Mission
To help alter the future of our city's most vulnerable people through programs that help build the individual, bring value to children and families, and strengthen the community.
Values
Compassion
Our heart is to put ourselves in the shoes of others. We will not be able to fully understand some of the heartache we encounter but we want to listen without judgement, and let our hearts be moved to action through the stories we hear.
Relationship
We aim to forge relationships of trust and facilitate ongoing communication in order to help end the isolation cycle often seen among the most marginalised in our community.
Impartiality
We follow the biblical value of helping the vulnerable - regardless of person - no strings attached.
Partnership
We believe our responsibility is to partner with those who come to us for help, and instead of imposing prescriptive answers, to creatively seek solutions together. We aim to increase our effectiveness through partnerships with other agencies, sharing resources and ideas wherever we can.
Riverview Community Services programs are outworked by a community of volunteers from within Riverview Church whose goal is to promote and facilitate community and friendship with people.
